Services will be on Monday, April 22, 2002, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Lydia Bauer, age 94, of St. Cloud who died Thursday, April 18 at St. Benedict's Center in St. Cloud. Reverend Timothy Baltes will officiate. Entombment will be in the Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum, St. Cloud. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and after 10:00 a.m. Monday the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Arrangements were by the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
Lydia was born on June 18, 1907, in Melrose, Minnesota to Theodore and Caroline (Kuhlman) Hinnenkamp. She married John Bauer on April 5, 1932 at St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud. Lydia lived in St. Cloud most of her married life where she was a member of St. Paul's parish and Christian Women.
Survivors include two sons, Ralph and his wife Michaeline of St. Louis, MO and Richard and his wife Susan of Eagen; one daughter, Darlene Collier of Rice; five grandchildren, Jeff, Lisa, Jean, Joe and Pete; five great grandchildren, Scott, Kelsey, Claire, Sam and Lydia; one brother, Alphonse of Milwaukee, WI; two sisters, Ann Kollmann of St. Cloud, and Loretta Horsch of St. Cloud.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in August 19, 1995; one daughter, Mary Ann; six brothers, Augie, Arnie, Ben, Reverend Norbert, Dillo and Albert; and one sister, Rose.
