SCHARBER, JOSEPH C., 81, of St. Joseph, died Monday (Sept. 27, 2004) at home. He was a lifelong resident of St. Joseph. He was an independent business owner and a Navy veteran. He served in World War II in the Atlantic theater and was member of the VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Marie; two sons, Joseph and Allen, both of St. Joseph; four stepsons, Ed McNary, Fairfield, Calif., John R. Music, Wesley Chapel, Ron Music, Okinawa, and Steve Music, Wesley Chapel; three stepdaughters, Carolyn Lee, Lake City, Tina Zimmer and Angela Hill, both of Wesley Chapel; a brother, William, and a sister, Theresa Blommel, both of St. Joseph; four grandchildren; 26 stepgrandchildren; and 18 step-great-grandchildren. Hodges Family Funeral Home, Dade City.
