Marcellus M. "Sal" Roering, 68, of Maplewood, died Nov. 26, 2003. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 6133 15th St. N. in Oakdale with interment in National Cemetery.
Sal is the beloved husband of Florentine "Flo"; father of Randy (Pauline), Sandy (Dave) Oakes, Russ (Lisa), and Sue (Jim) Ricard; loving grandfather of Dan, Geoff, Justin, Julie, Michael, Krista, Steven, Amy, Anthony, and Sara; and is the brother of Delores Gettel, Donna Zitur, Gerald Roering, Richard Roering, Shirley Klienschmidt, Bernelda Ballmann, Marlyn Ruprecht, Valeria Terhaar, and Patricia Boyer. Sal is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Bernie; and siblings, Juletta Wolbeck, Jerome Roering, Beatrice Wobse, and MaryJane Keller.
Sal will be remembered for his talent and love of music and woodworking, for his devotion to his children and family, and his many travels with his co-pilot, Flo. Memorials are preferred.
