Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church for Juletta A. Wolbeck, 77, who died Monday at St. Cloud Hospital.Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.Friends may call from 2:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Stephan-Stein Funeral Home. There will be a Catholic Women's rosary at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Long Prairie followed by parish vigil prayers at 7:30.
Juletta Wolbeck was born in Spring Hill to Nick and Bernadine (Beckermann) Roering. She married Al B. Wolbeck on May 27, 1941, in Elrosa. She lived most of her married life in Long Prairie, where the couple farmed. She was a member of St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and St. Mary's Christian Mothers.Survivors include daughters and sons, JoAnn Christensen of Pocatello, Idaho, Sharon Warren of Powell, Wyo., Karon Sanchez of Nelson, Janice Brown, Shirley Toenyan and Gene of Long Prairie, and Jerry of Osakis; sisters and brothers, Donna Mae Zitur of El Paso, Texas, Shirley Kleinschmidt of Minneapolis, Marilyn Ruprecht of Richmond, Valeria Terhaar of St. Cloud, Patricia Boyer of Sauk Centre, Delores Gettel and Richard of Osakis, Beatrice Wobse, Bernelda Ballman, Sal and Jerome of St. Paul, and Gerald of Grey Eagle; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Aug. 17, 1982; and sister, Mary Jane Keller.
