GUDE, Donna, 56, of Tampa, formerly of Dade City, died Monday, June 14, 2004, at LifePath Hospice Care Center in Sun City Center. She was born on August 10, 1947, in Dade City and received her education in Dade City Schools. She worked as a telephone operator for General Telephone and Verizon for 33 years. She spent nine years employed in Lexington, Ky., and upon retiring, returned to Tampa in 2002. She was Catholic and a member of Christ the King parish in Tampa.
She is survived by her parents, Florian and Sylvia Gude of Dade City; five sisters and their husbands, Susan Kelly (Michael), Nancy Pumo (Bennet), Deborah Hawkins (Steven), Constance Parsons (Harry) and Rebeccah Cardillo (Peter); four nephews, Bennet Pumo Jr. (Elizabeth), David Hawkins, Charles Kelly and Peter J. Cardillo; seven nieces, Shannon Fleming (Matthew), Jennifer Pumo, Stephanie Hawkins, Jessica and Erin Cardillo, and Claire and Rachel Parsons; and a great- grand niece, Alyssa Pumo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2004, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Henry Riffle as celebrant. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. and a Wake and Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday (today), June 16, 2004, at the church.
