Funeral services will be at 11 am on Friday, August 25, 2006 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell, MN for Theresa Meyer age 83, who died on Sunday, August 20, 2006 at the Country Manor Health Care Center in Sartell, MN. The Rev. Lauren Germann will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call between 4-8 pm on Thursday at the Daniel Funeral Home in Sartell and between 10 - 11 on Friday at the church. St. Monica's Christian Women will pray at 6:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home in Sartell followed by St. Francis Xavier parish prayers.
Theresa was born on Sept. 28, 1922 in Opole, MN to Ignatius and Mary (Patrias) Ziemba. She married Edward G. Meyer on July 14, 1945 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Opole MN. She lived in the Sartell area most of her life where she was a member of St. Francis Xavier parish.
Survivors include her children: Bruce of St. Cloud, Sherry Wiger of San Diego, CA, Kurt of Mpls and Timothy (Kelly) of St. Cloud; one grandson Trace Meyer, sisters: Cathy Drury of Mpls and Barb Krebs of Albany.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 9, 1999 and daughters Joy and Charlotte.
