Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, and from 8-9:30 a.m. Friday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Clarence 'Pat'Brickweg was born in New Munich to Frank and Mary (Altendahl). He farmed east of Melrose, then was employed by Melrose Turkey Farm for seven years. He retired in 1974. In 1995 he moved to Oak Ridge Manor in Melrose. He has resided at Pine Villa Care Center in Melrose since November, 2000. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose.
Survivors include brother and sisters, Ray Brickweg of Little Birch Lake, Grey Eagle, Alma (Eugene) Herges of Big Birch Lake, Melrose, and Martha (Alcuin) Toenies of Royalton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sister, Norbert Brickweg, Ann Woeste, and Frank Brickweg, Jr.
