Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell for Agnes H. Fuchs, age 88, of Sartell who died Monday, April 21, 2008 at the Country Manor Health Care Center in Sartell. Reverend Lauren Germann will officiate. Interment will be at a later date. Friends may call from 4:00-7:30 PM on Friday and after 10:00 AM on Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. The St. Monica Christian Women will pray at 5:30 PM and Parish prayers will be at 6:00 PM on Friday at the church in Sartell. Arrangements are with the Daniel Funeral Home, Sartell.
Agnes was born August 24, 1919 in Greenwald, Minnesota, to the late Ferdinand and Lena (Nathe) Eveslage. She married Peter Fuchs on October 8, 1940 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Greenwald. Agnes and Pete moved to Marshall in 1951. She was a homemaker, and later worked for Swift & Co. and Kelco Distributing. Agnes and Pete moved to Sartell in 1996 to be closer to family. Agnes was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Christian Mothers Society, and the church choir in Marshall. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, gardening, sewing and making quilts. Agnes and Pete enjoyed going to dances with their Marshall friends.
Agnes is survived by two daughters: Lynette Lynn and husband Herman Pietrowski of Little Falls and their family Kris and Jonathan Jank (Annika, Erika), Michele Pietrowski, and Doug and Susan Pietrowski (Brynn); Sandra Sandy and husband Robert Sexton of Sartell and their family Bobbi and Craig Lamp (Madisen, MacKenzie, Ben), Gina and Mark Halstrom (Bria, Mason, Riley, Carter, Madeline), and Ryan and Tracy Sexton (Ryan Jr., Gunner); and sister Clara Uphus of Tucson, AZ.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Peter on March 8, 2006, brothers Tony, Leo, Elmer and sisters Alvina Meyer, Rose Weller, Julianna Mader and Valeria Lensing.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Country Manor for the wonderful, loving care she received. Memorials are preferred toward the future Country Manor hospice room.
