Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Boniface Catholic Church for Rose Mary Knoblach, 60, who died Friday at St. Cloud Hospital.Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wenner Funeral Home. Christian Women will pray the rosary at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Cold Spring followed by parish prayers at 8.
Rose Mary Knoblach was born in Lake Henry to Anton and Regina (Lieser) Fuchs. She married Harold Knoblach on Nov. 19, 1960, in St. Louis Catholic Church, Paynesville. She worked as a nurses aid for Paynesville Community Hospital from 1967 to 1979; as a cook and in administration for ROCORI school district 750; at Cold Spring Bakery; and as structural sales record manager for Cold Spring Granite Co. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Cold Spring, and Christian Women.
Survivors include daughter and son, Debbie Viehauser of St. Joseph, and Doug of Alexandria; brothers and sisters, George and Urban of Paynesville, Theresa Meyer of Sauk Centre, Alice Stalboerger of Cold Spring, and Bernie Hetke of Grove City; and five grandchildren.She also leaves behind a longtime companion, Jerry Klein of Watkins.She was preceded in death by her husband, Oct. 15, 1989.
