Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2007 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Helen M. Meyer, age 85, who died Tuesday at the Assumption Nursing home surrounded by her loving family. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Thursday and from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Marian Chapel in the St. Boniface Church in Cold Spring. Parish Prayers will be at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday evening.
Helen M. Meyer was born in Richmond, MN to John and Catherine Blasius. She married Ambrose Meyer on June 13, 1945 in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN. Helen was a loving wife and mother of eight. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and gardening.
Survivors include her children, Sharon (Roger) Mumm, Dwight, Stephen (Kim), Barbara (Ron) Fuchs, Mary Trisco, Mark, Wendy (Elmer) Theisen; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ambrose (April 23, 2005); her parents; her son, Peter (June 5, 1970), and 12 brothers and sisters
