She was born October 16, 1925, in Lake City, Florida, to Ralph and Nita (Keen) Clemons. She is survived by her children, Bernard Barthle of Dade City, Pat Bernell of Denmark, ME, and Veronica Bloomer of Dade City; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; three sisters, Olita Brown, Oweda Harris and Caroline Douglas.

She was predeceased by her husband, Hubert Barthle and a daughter, Charlotte Seals. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am Wednesday, August 22, at Whitfield Funeral Home, with services following at 11:00 am.
