Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 12, 2002 for Lidwina R. Wieber at St. Catherine¹s Catholic Church in Farming, celebrant will be Fr. Julian Schmiesing, OSB. Lidwina died on Saturday at the Assumption Home in Cold Spring. Burial will be in the St. Catherine¹s Parish Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond. The Mission Society will pray a rosary at 7:00 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 7:30 p.m., led by Fr. Robert Wieber, OSB.
Lidwina was born in Farming, MN to John and Josephine (Sieverding) Wieber. She was self-employed as a seamstress and also loved to garden, cook and read. Lidwina was a faith and family oriented person, and all who knew her will remember her for her great personality and generosity.
Survivors include her brother, Edwin (Helen) Richmond, nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Josephine; brothers, Meinrad, Sylvester and Gregor; sisters, Loretta Ramler and Joeletta Silvers. Pallbearers will be Anita Loechler, Mark Silvers, Tom Silvers, Tim Silvers, Fred Silvers and Maureen Gertken. Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews.
