Roger was born September 29, 1939, in Richmond, MN to Richard and Agnes (Steinke) Wieber. After serving in the US Air Force, Roger married Alice (Rusty) Timmers. They later divorced. Roger resided in St. Paul until 1997 when he moved to Leisure World at Seal Beach, CA. Due to a bout with cancer, in 1987 Roger lost both legs and was confined to a wheelchair. In spite of this, he was unusually adept at getting where he wanted to go. While a resident at Leisure World he was very active in many card clubs, the coin club, and travel club.
Roger married Mary Cox in April 2001. He is survived by his wife Mary, Seal Beach, CA, sons, Kelly (Stephanie), Portland, OR, Michael (Renee) Alameda, CA, brothers, Ted (Joan), St. Louis, MO, Jack (Carol), St. Cloud, MN, Dick (Sandy), Sartell, MN, sister, Mary (Al) Neu, Paynesville, MN, stepson, Wayne (Sue) Cox, Santee, CA, step-daughter, Dee (Brian) Harmon, Orange, CA, and 6 grandchildren.
