Atwell WILMERTON

Atwell Wilmerton was a Quaker and arrived in America with the Quakers. The Quakers began arriving in Pennsylvania in the late 1600s. William Penn landed in the American Colonies on the good ship "Welcome" in 1682. Many of Atwell's neighbors were Quakers. His marriage, those of his children, and several of his descendants were recorded in the U.S. Quakers Meeting Records.
