Her birth was registered on 4th Oct 1855 by her mother, her father is quoted as an Agricultural Labourer, of Pontstephen, St Dogmaels.According to a family story, Frances is reputed to have liked a Guinness (for medicinal purposes) every day, and she died of a brain haemorrhage after a visit to the Rolling Mill Pub. She collapsed in the street and was taken into 64 Tillery Street, where she died.Census 1891 shows Both English & Welsh speaking
