She's indicated as being a housekeepe r - I heard she got a live-in housekeeper's job and put her son on the tr ain down to the Durham area where he was brought up by Joseph's brother s (descendants of the son still live in that area). When he came to Scotl and to visit her, she introduced him as a "friend from England" never he r son. Sad times for both of them .
