Elizabeth Mary Power's age is 36 in the 1871 Canada Census. Based on that information, she was born about 1835.Marriage
There are conflicting dates for the marriage of Thomas Power and Elizabeth Slade. I have not been able to find an actual marriage registration so am relying on dates listed on birth registrations of their children. Some of these have 18 December 1853 and others have 1 January 1858 (which would be after two of their children were born).Endnotes
