Their research has found that Nicholas, after 1788, was in Montgomery County, Md (now Washington, D.C.), later moved north between Rockville and Sugarloaf Mountain near Fredericks County, MD border, and in 1820 was in Middletown Valley area in Fredericks County. [1]
