Death
Obit (Find a Grave)Lena May West, 79. 17 Center Dr., Burlington Trailer Park, died early this morning at Ball Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Muncie, attended city school, and spent her entire life in this area.
Mrs. West was employed for more than 23 years with Ball Brothers, now Ball Corp., before retiring in 1964.
Surviving are her son, Robert Carter, Muncie; four stepsons, Jack West, Deerpark, Tex., Larry West, Pasadena, Tex., and Gene and Max West, both of Muncie; two grandsons, and seven granddaughters.
Services will be at Meeks Mortuary at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday or before service time Wednesday.
