He was a member of Daleville Masonic Lodge 730 since 1989; former president of Daleville Town Council; past commander of Post 446 of the Daleville American Legion; board member of Daleville Grnd Prix; founder and president of Daleville John Dillinger Car Show for 35 years; supported many Daleville organizations. He was an avid poker player and an Anderson Speedway race car driver. Alton loved camping, boating, bonfires and racing. Alton was a caring family man who loved his wife, children and grandchildren.
