- Date: 12 Nov 1825John Doan [ID5866] and Eunice Hadley [ID5867] informs this meeting in writing that they intend marriage with each other. Nathaniel Carter and Joel Dixon are appointed to make the needful inquiry and report to next meeting. [1, pdf page 10]

The friends appointed last meeting to make the needful inquiry concerning John Doan’s [ID5866] clearness of marriage engagement with others report they find nothing to hinder his proceeding and they appeared and expressed a continuation of their intention; he is therefore left at liberty to accomplish his marriage orderly. Nathaniel Carter and Joel Dixon are appointed to attend said marriage and see if good order be observed, and report to next meeting; also produce the certificate. [1, pdf page 11]
