Death
Squire Y. OwensSHERIDAN, Ind., Dec. 18 -- The funeral of Squire Y. Owens was held at the late home of the deceased Thursday afternoon. Burial in the Sheridan cemetery. Mr. Owens was 75 years old.
His death took place Tuesday morning due to a sudden heart attack although he had been in failing health for several years. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lowell Pettijohn and Mrs. Mildred Bellus of Sheridan, one brother, L.P. Owens and one sister, Mrs. Henry Timmons of Sheridan.
The deceased was a former Tipton resident, being associated there in business for several years with his brother, L. P. Owens, in the saw mill business and was well known to many Tipton residents. After retiring from the business he located in Sheridan. [1]
