Mrs. Emma Ball Overman, 69, wife of John H. Overman, died at her home here in High Point at 1108 Anderson Street last night.
She had been in ill health about three weeks.
Born in Randolph county, daughter of the late George and Hannah Robbins Ball.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Bruce Grooms, Randleman Rt. 2, Mrs. Jessie V. Kirkman and Mrs. Manley Vestal both of Asheboro and Mrs. Morgan Baxley, Ft. Lauderdale Fla., three sons Giles M. Overman, Asheboro, John W. of High Point and Casper in U.S. Army Air Force, Germany, and twelve grand children and three great grandchildren, three brothers, W. E. Ball, J. E. Ball of Lexington Rt. 1 and 2. A. Ball of Clint Hill.
Funeral services to be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 in the chapel at the Farlowe funeral home in Asheboro. Interment in the old city cemetery at Asheboro. [1]
