Norris L. Foulke, 77, of Noblesville passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. Born Feb. 7, 1933 in Noblesville he was the son of Russell Foulke and Hildreth (Williams) Foulke.
He was a 1951 graduate of Westfield High School and was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He married Wilma (Maggart) Foulke, who survives him, Feb. 27, 1955.
He worked in Information Systems at Community East Hospital for 31 yrs, retiring in 2002. He was a dairy farmer in Hamilton County for 23 years. He attended Purdue's Agriculture Short Course. He received a degree in Computer programming in 1970. He enjoyed woodworking and was a member of the Gray Friends Church of Noblesville.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma, of Noblesville; sons, Gary (Jan) Foulke of Winchester, Ind., Greg (Carol) Foulke of Indianapolis and Ken (Nancy) Foulke of Pleasanton, Calif.; daughter, Janet (Jim) Beal of LaOtto, Ind.; brothers, Arnold (Loretta) Foulke of Noblesville and Larry (Anita) Foulke of Sheridan; sister, Karen (Rod) Isenhour of Sheridan; cousin, Don (Rosanne Foulke of Carmel; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Taylor Cox; and two cousins and a nephew.
Visitation is 4 to 8 pm Tuesday at Randall and Roberts Funeral Home, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Funeral service is 10:30 am Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to Gray Friends Scholarship Fund, c/o Stephen Webster, P.O. Box 232, Sheridan, IN 46069. [1]
