DEATH OF MRS. A. TOMLINSON SUNDAY NIGHT
Member of Widely Known Family of Washington Township
THE MOTHER OF MORRIS TOMLINSON
Mrs. Ann Tomlinson, wife of Asher Tomlinson, a member of one of the well known families of Washington township, died at her home a short distance north of Westfield, late Sunday night, after having been in poor health for a long time. She is survived by the husband and one son, Prof. Morris Tomlinson, connected with the schools at Mishawaka and formerly principal of the Westfield school. Two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Fesmire, of Westfield, and Mrs. A. E. Jessup. of Clay Center, also survive.
No arrangements had been made for the funeral Monday forenoon but it was thought that the services might be held some time Tuesday. The details of the services awaited the arrival of the son.
It was announced late Monday afternoon that the funeral will be held in the Chester church, north of Westfield at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning. Rev William Cleaver, pastor of the Gray Friends church will have charge of the services and the interment will take place in the cemetery near the church. [2]
