Military
After the war, he continued to serve with the Militia holding various positions, culminating with being appointed Commanding Officer of of the No. 5 Militia Group. Following a transfer to Fredericton, Clinton was appointed Commander of the New Brunswick Militia District. Having earned the rank of Colonel, he was the Honorary Colonel of the Moncton Service Battalion.Occupation
He was the founding principal of the New Brunswick Institute of Technology, which provided training in trades for returning veterans and civilians. He later was the founding principal of the New Brunswick Community College.Endnotes
