Obituary
HOULTON - Rowena M. Adams, 74, of Houlton died April 8, 2005, at Houlton. She was born Feb. 16, 1931, in Houlton, the daughter of Leigh and Viola (Corey) Taylor. She is survived by five children, Sylvia and her husband, William McCausland, of Houlton, Karen and her husband, Dell Carmichael, of Littleton, Allison Dickinson and his wife, Lana, of Hodgdon, Carol Thibodeau and her friend, Steve Merritt, of Littleton, Ann and her husband, Mark Thibodeau, of Monticello; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert and his wife, Sarah Taylor, of Presque Isle; and one sister, Patricia and her husband, Wendell Lynds, of Littleton; several nieces and nephews, and a close family friend, Calvin Thibodeau. She was predeceased by one daughter, Linda Gagnon; and one infant son. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, with the Rev. Dave Tuttle officiating. Interment will be in the Hodgdon Cemetery. Donations may be made in Rowena's memory to Bowers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 579, Houlton, ME 04730.Endnotes
