Obituary
KENNASAW, Ga. - Nancy A. Gilbert went home to be with her parents on June 5, 2004, at the age of 41. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Jane Agnes (Thebeau) and Manford Otis Gilbert, Jr. Nancy lived her life to the fullest. She traveled all over the world, making friends from Bangor, Maine to Sidney, Australia. Her love of sports was endless. An avid fan of the Maine Black Bear Hockey Team, Cleveland Indians and the Atlanta Braves. She was employed by MBNA in Kennasaw, Ga., when she passed away. Prior she was employed by Pelican Publishing House in New Orleans, La. Also by Tabitha King of Bangor. She is survived by her brother, Michael J. Gilbert and his wife, Rita, of Hampden; a sister, Deborah A. Hichborn of Carmel; a sister, Patricia Mower and husband, Dale, of Bangor; a brother, Gary R. Gilbert and wife, Julie, of Skowhegan; eight nieces and nephews, Cathy Gilbert of Saco, Matthew Gilbert of Washington, N.J., Amber Hichborn of Louisville, Ky., Ashley Hichborn of Fort Kent, Tina Gilbert of Berlin, N.H., Meaghan, Derek and Melissa Mower of Bangor; an aunt and uncle, Elaine and Tom Carpenter of Texas; a very special person, Barbara Gilbert of Rockport. She was predeceased by her mother, Jane Agnes McDonald, her father, Manford Otis Gilbert Jr.; a very special person, Francis McDonald; and a nephew, baby boy Hichborn. Funeral arrangements are in care of Wages & Sons Funeral Home in Stone Mountain, Ga.
