Hiram T. King, one of the leading business men of Stillwater, and prominent in Masonic circles, died at a hospital here, of Addison's disease. He was 66 years old, and leaves a mother, three brothers and three sisters. He was a member of the drug firm of King Bros., and a brother of William K. King of Minneapolis. He was a life member of Stillwater lodge of Elks, and belonged to various Masonic organizations.Census

Stillwater, Minn., Oct. 1 - The Republican convention for the nomination of county and legislative candidates was held at the court house today, and was full of surprises. A. G. Wilcox, of Oneka, was chosen chairman of the gathering, and H. T. King, of Stillwater, was elected secretary.Census
