Marriage Notice (family)
A wedding of interest was solemnized on Monday morning when Miss Hazel F. Terrill became the bride of William H. Brown. The ceremony was performed by Rev. P. M. Silke, at a mass at St. Mary's church on Monday morning. The bride was gowned in royal blue crepe dress with a tan and blue hat. Miss Lillian Terrill, a nurse in training at the Presque Isle hospital and sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and wore a blue satin dress and blue hat. Lewis Cassidy attended the groom. Mrs. Brown is the daughter of Mrs. Frank Logan of the North road. She attended the convent of St. Agathe for quite a few years and is a talented young many ways. She also attended Houlton high school. The groom is the son of Mrs. George Kimball of Limestone. He is a graduate of the Limestone high school. He is a musician of considerable prominence in the county. He is engaged in farming in Limestone where they will reside. Following the wedding ceremony a breakfast was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Logan and it was given to the immediate families. Mr. and Mrs. Brown left on Tuesday for their home.Funeral Notice
HOULTON, Dec. 8 - Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Terrill Brown, 33, who died Friday at the Eye an Ear Infirmary in Portland were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at Dunn's Funeral Home. Rev. Frank Walsh officiated, and there were many flowers. The bearers were Royal Crockett, Lawrence Russell, George Russell, and Paul Logie. Mrs. Brown was born in this community, the daughter of Mrs. Flora Russell Terrill Logan and Eslie Terrill. She resided for a time in Bangor and in recent years had been employed in a drug store in Portland. Besides here mother she leaves her step father, Frank Logan, one sister, Lillian Terrill of Portland, and her grandfather, Edwin C. Russell of Houlton.Endnotes
