Obituary
EAST MILLINOCKET - Eugene C. Parker, 53, died Sept. 18, 1978, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Born in Glenburn, May 31, 1925, he was the sone of Charles H. and Mildred J. (Batson) Parker. He was a math and science teacher at East Millinocket Junior High School for the past 28 years. He is survived by three brothers, Charles H. Parker Jr. of Pitman, N.J., William E. Parker of Yelm, Wash., and Philip S. Parker of Rockport, Mass.; several nieces and nephews; 10 great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews; two aunts, Rebecca Batson of Addison and Marcia Parker of Glenburn; one uncle, Andrew Batson of Addison. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Union Church, South Addison. Interment in the family cemetery at Batson Farm, South Addison. Visiting hours on Wednesday, 7-9 p.m., at the Union Church. If desired, memorial gifts may be made in his name to one's favorite charity.Endnotes
