Obituary
Wallace "Buddy" M. Pratt Sr., 61, of Route 202 died unexpectedly at his home Friday. He was born in Leeds, a son of Charles N. and Elsie C. Kenney Pratt, attended Leeds grammar schools and was a 1949 graduate of Monmouth Academy. Mr. Pratt was an Army corporal during the Korean War and was a half-track driver. For the last 28 years, he was a mechanic at the University of Maine Experimental Station at High Moor Farm. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and the Sportsmen's Alliance of Maine, a member of Temple Masonic Lodge, Winthrop, and a former member of the VFW. On July 4, 1993, he married Nancy L. Tame in Monmouth. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Wallace M. Jr. of Greene and Andrew P. of Lisbon; a daughter, Rebecca M. Dunn of Leeds; two brothers, Marshall M. of Greene and Allan A. of Winthrop; a sister, Lucy A. Kosko of Leeds; three grandsons and six granddaughters. There will be no service.
