Obituary
PERHAM - Charlene M. Dickinson, 83, died Aug. 13, 2008, at an Eagle Lake health care facility. She was born Oct. 12, 1924, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Joseph and Alice (Goven) Tardy. She was a member of Perham Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Elwin Roy Dickinson of Perham; a son, David E. Dickinson and his wife, Frieda, of Ashland; stepson, Willard M. Dickinson of Portage; a daughter and her husband, Brenda and David Boyce of Bucksport; three grandchildren and their spouses, Scott and Jennifer Dickinson, Lt. Col. Rick Dickinson and his wife, and Ginger and Donald Lundgren; four great-grandchildren, David Dickinson, Shelby Dickinson, Orion Lundgren and Britni Lundgren; and a sister, Mary Jane Gaudreau and her husband, Leon, of East Granby, Conn. She was predeceased by two brothers, Hanford Tardy and Michael Goven; and two sisters, Violey Jordan and Kathleen Stafford. Funeral services will be held noon Saturday, Aug. 16, at Perham Baptist Church with the Rev. Dave Goupille officiating. Relatives and friends may call 11 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Perham. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.Endnotes
