Obituary
CORINNA, Feb. 20 - Olin Elmer Holbrook, 50, died early Monday morning at a Dexter hospital after a period of ill health. Born at Corinna, October 9, 1910, he was the son of Fred M. and Mabel (Shepherd) Holbrook. He attended schools here and was a graduate of Corinna Union Academy. He had worked at both the Kenwood and Eastland woolen mills here. In January of 1941, he married Marion E. Eastman of Corinna. For the last 15 years he had been a clerk in the Holbrook dry goods store here. Mr. Holbrook was a member of the Corinna Lodge of Masons. Besides his widow, survivors are one son, Maurice L. Holbrook, his parents, his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lilla M. Philbrook, all of Corinna; two aunts and two cousins. Funeral services will be held at the Corinna Methodist Church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. I. E. Koelker officiating. Friends may call at the Farnham Funeral Home at Corinna Tuesday and Wednesday. Spring burial will be in the family lot in the Village Cemetery here.Endnotes
