Entering into an agreement on 8 June 1706 John, together with his father and his uncle, Shubael Gorham, to build the first fulling mill in Yarmouth to card wool for cloth. On 22 November 1708 and 07 November 1710, he sold part of the mill back to his uncle, Shubael Gorham.Death
