Obituary
HODGDON - Wally Sjoberg, 67, died Feb. 13, 1988, at his residence in Hodgdon. He was born in New Sweden, the son of Fritz and Elvira (Sodergren) Sjoberg. He was a member of the Hodgdon United Baptist Church and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a schoolbus driver for SAD No. 70 and farmed for most of his life in Hodgdon. He is survived by his wife, Ruby (Smith) Sjoberg of Hodgdon; four sons, Paul and Frederic, both of Hodgdon, David of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Duane of Westbrook; one daughter, Patricia Foster of Hodgdon; five brothers, Vincent of Zephyrhills, Fla., Clemens of Greenville, S.C., Everett of St. Johnsbury, Vt., Ernest of Dresden and Carl of Caribou; one sister, Ebba Jepson of Waco, Texas; his stepmother, Olive Sjoberg of Citrus Spring, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hodgdon United Baptist Church, with the Reverands Alan Porter and Everett Sjoberg officiating. Friends who wish may make donations to the Hodgdon United Baptist Church or the charity of their choice.Endnotes
