Obituary of Walter Virgil Lolley
A graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2001, in Hillcrest Cemetery in Weiser, Idaho, for Walter Virgil Lolley, who died March 1 at age 92.
Mr. Lolley was born Aug. 2, 1908, in Weiser, where he was raised. He moved to Portland in 1946 and was a machinist for several companies until his retirement. In 1996, he moved to Boise. He was a past member of First United Methodist Church in Portland.
Survivors include his sons, Leo A., Edward and Larry; daughters, Mercedes McCarter and Judith Lolley; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. His daughter Marcella Lolley died in 1931.
The family suggests remembrances to the Snake River Heritage Center, P.O. Box 307, Weiser, ID 83672. Arrangements are by Thomason Funeral Home in Weiser.
