Obituary of Leo Asa Lolley

Leo Asa Lolley, 81, of Newport, Ore., died of leukemia on Dec. 15, 2009 at his home.

He was born Feb. 18, 1928 to Walter and Edith Lolley in Weiser, Idaho.

He was in the U.S. Navy and worked as a flight engineer and a ground mechanic in Kodiak, Alaska at Moffett Flight Field. He worked at Kaiser Aluminum in Spokane, Wash. before moving to Oregon.

He enjoyed all wildlife and building bird feeders, and he also built and painted a cabin in Elk City.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janet.

He is survived by half brothers, Gary Reitz and Larry Lolley; and half sisters, Judy Lolley, Betty Jo Newton and Mercedes McCarter.
