Obituary of Ann Louise Conner Wampler

Anna Louise C. Wampler, 55, of Daleville, was born on February 17, 1956, at Jacksonville, Fla., and went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, surrounded by her family and friends.

She lived most of her adult life in Botetourt County, a member of Troutville Church of the Brethren. She was a graduate of Hollins University and earned a Masters Degree in Special Education from The University of Virginia. Louise taught school in Botetourt, Craig counties, and Roanoke.

She will be sorely missed by her husband, Steven I. Wampler, of Daleville, Va.; Her son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Gillian Cochran, of Richmond, Va.; son, Kellan M. Cochran, of Deltville, Va.; and a granddaughter, Gabriella I. Cochran, of Rocky Mount, Va. Also surviving are her parents, Jim and Mary Ann Conner, of Salem, Va.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at the Troutville Church of the Brethren. Pastor Maurice Wright will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Troutville Church of the Brethren, 5133 Lee Highway, Troutville, VA 24175. The family will have a private burial service. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel.
