Theresa Louise Cannaday

Theresa Cannaday Twilley, 73, of the 300 block of Green St., a retired clerk-stenographer, died April 30, 1990, in a hospital.
Mrs. Twilley, a native of Roanoke, had retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was a former piano teacher. She was a member of Park View United Methodist Church, Portsmouth Women's Club and the Portsmouth Community Concert Association. She was the widow of Elwood P. Twilley Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Diane S. Booth of Chesapeake; a son, Robert F. Savino of Auburn, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Marjorie Ann Thomy of Sumter, S.C., and Carol T. Maness of Lynchburg; two sisters, Dorothy C. Major of Suffolk and Carolyn C. Lenz of Kensington, Md.; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Park View United Methodist Church by the Rev. Gary Lee Sligh. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Foster Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to the music program of Park View United Methodist Church, 230 Webster Ave., Portsmouth, Va. 23704.
