Henry H. Hartson is thought to have been in Walworth, Elkhorn County, Wisconsin by 1840 and is listed in the 1850 census along with sister, Tirzah and brother, Grover. In 1860, he is again listed with his sister. No evidence exists to prove that he is the Henry Hartson that married Dorothy Smith, however, no other of that name can be found.
