Son Ebenezer King was mentioned in the 1752 will of John King. Daughter Mercy King was mentioned in the 1743 will of Nathaniel Merrick.

Some time about 1742 this family moved from Harwich to Frederickstown in Phillipse Patent, Dutchess County, New York. Ebenezer King was a tenant on lot 8 of Phillipse Patent in 1754. He was assessed in the Southern District of Dutchess County from June 1746 to 1770. Hamon or Herman King was listed there from February 1755 to 1771, then at Fredericksburgh, 1772-9. Basely King was on the Southern District lists from February 1760 to 1771, then at Fredericksburgh, 1772-9. Listed together in the 1790 census of Frederickstown were Barzillai King, Marrick King, Nathaniel King, John King, Heman King, and Heman King, Jr. Heman King, who died 21 January 1812, age 85 years, and Elizabeth King, who died 30 August 1811, age 81 years, where buried near the Ellis Cemetery in the Town of Southeast, Putnam County, the site of the first Church of Christ on Phillipse Patent, but stones are not now found.
