Ann Borodell was born in Cook, Ireland in May of 1615. There is a story that she was a nurse to Captain George Denison, injured in battle, recuperating at the house of John Borodell, Ann's dad. Ann and George fell in love and married.

There is a story that Ann was George's nurse after he was injured in the Battle of Naseby, on June 14, 1645 and sent to John Borordell's home to recover.Death
