James Brown

James Brown was born in Rehoboth May 4 1655. On June 5 1678 he married Margaret Dennison. They had at least 10 children and stayed in the area of Rehoboth, Swansea and Plymouth. James Brown's headstone reads 'Lieut' with no source yet on what the title refers to. James and Margaret both left wills mentioning their children.

His will was written on 28 June, 1717

Probate

His inventory taken on 27 April, 1719, his will was proved 4 May, 1719. His Inventory included a purse with bills of credit, wiring apparel, new cloth, books and arms, looms, yarn, chest boxes chairs and tables

Burial

Death place is Swansea which, I guess is now part of Eat Providence. Rhode Island historic cemetery website has a great photo of his headstone.
