Mary Marie Ashton
(August, 1605 - July 15, 1659)
Mary Ashton was baptized in St. Alban's Parish in 1605 and married Thomas Olney there in 1629. In 1635 she sailed to America, on the Planter, with her husband and two small sons. The Olney family arrived in Massachusetts, stayed in Salem for awhile then were in Providence, Rhode Island by 1639 after Thomas and family were ordered to leave because of their religion. Mary died in 1659. Her burial place is unknown.
