Her husband's will, "In the name of God Amen, I David Gaines, to my wife Elizabeth acres, dwelling house, livestock. To children, dated and signed".

Burial

Elizabeth and David are buried in the old cemetery on the east side of the road, just above the old Joel Gaines place.
