Ananias Tubbs

(1747 - February 8, 1828)

Ananias Tubbs enlisted in December 1776 for the term of one year and belonged to Capt. Whitcomb's Company and Col. (illegible) regiment of the New Hampshire line. That he served therein for the term of eleven months and was honorably discharged. That he was in the Battle of Bennington in the year 1777 and he was wounded by a muster ball in his left hip and that the ball is in his left thigh.

Dated 6 Feb 1821, State of Vermont, Northfield in pursuant to the Acts of Congress 18 Mar 1818 and 1 May 1820.
