Leander N. Angell

(March 11, 1852 - 1933)

Leander, son of Charles and Eleanor Black Angell married Nancy Trobaugh. Leander was born in Illinois then lived and died in Iowa, the Butler county Clarksville area. He and Eleanor had one son, Elmer who fought in WWI and died in France. Leander was presumably close with older cousin George Flood, son of William and Delia Viola Angell Flood. Delia lived with Leander’s family when they were young. George Flood and Leander were executors of Charles’s will. Leander, like his father, was a farmer.
