Jane could also be Joan. She was born about 1612 probably in Olney Co Bucks, England. She and Henry Gaines married 17 May 1634 in Olney, Co Bucks, then were in Lynn Massachusetts by 1638 when son Samuel was born. Henry and Jane died in their 30s leaving young boys to apprenticeships, one source states early death was due to poverty and toil in the new country.
