Charlotte Ann Knapp

Charlotte Knapp poses a lot of questions. She was born 12 Oct 1831 in New York and is probably, maybe, descended from Nicholas Knapp of the Winthrop Fleet 1630. Charlotte married first Jason Wallace, they quickly divorced, then she married Jonathan Cable. Charlotte may or may not be the mom of William, Violetta and Sarah Cable. On census and other records she is listed as the mom, but could also be step mom, totally unknown. Charlotte and Jonathan lived in Pleasant Grove, Butler County, Iowa on the family farm. Charlotte's dad William Knapp, a Civil War soldier lived with the Cables. Charlotte died at about age 66 she was living in Chicago and is buried in Dane County Wisconsin with other Knapps.
